Hexa-core super strong Performance

The Board Software Development Kit GF-RK3399 features a Rockchip hexa-core processor based on the Big. Little architecture, comprising 2 Cortex-A72 and 4 Cortex-A53 cores, all 64-bit. This architecture enhances performance in integer and floating-point operations, memory management, and overall speed. The integrated Mali-T860 GPU incorporates advanced bandwidth compression technology and supports multiple video encoding and decoding formats, as well as various display interfaces, capable of achieving 4K resolution.

The Rockchip Board Software Development Kit uses a Gold Finger connector to link the SOM Module and Carrier Board, ensuring efficient electrical current transmission. It is equipped with dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, a Mini PCIe slot, a Type-C port, and USB 3.0, among other interfaces. This makes it highly versatile, suitable for applications such as tablets, VR devices, digital signage, all-in-one devices, POS systems, in-vehicle infotainment, thin clients, VoIP video conferencing, security and surveillance systems, and IoT projects.

Superstrong 64-bit Hexa-core Processor

Based on a 64-bit hexa-core CPU architecture with 2 Cortex-A72 and 4 Cortex-A53 cores, the processor operates at a CPU frequency of 1.8GHz. This design optimizes integer and floating-point performance, enhancing computation speed and overall performance. Compared to the Cortex-A15, the Cortex-A72 delivers 3.5 times the performance and doubles the computation speed.

Superior Graphic Process Ability

Equipped with the ARM Mali-T860 MP4 GPU, the system supports a wide range of graphics standards including OpenGL ES 1.1/2.0/3.0/3.1, OpenVG 1.1, OpenCL, and DirectX 11, along with ARM Frame Buffer Compression (AFBC). Compared to the previous generation Mali-T628, the Mali-T860 MP4 offers a 45% performance improvement.

It supports 4K VP9 and 4K 10-bit H.265/H.264 video decoding, as well as 1080p decoding for multiple formats including VC-1, MPEG-1/2/4, and VP8. The system also handles 1080p H.264 and VP8 video encoding. Additionally, it features a video post-processing unit that includes de-interlacing, de-noising, and edge/detail/color optimization, ensuring high-quality video output.
