Measuring a compact 70mm by 55mm, the ARM Single Board Computer MYS-6ULX is a high-performance, cost-effective single-board computer (SBC) designed specifically for Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Utilizing NXP’s i.MX 6UltraLite / 6ULL processor family, it boasts an efficient ARM Cortex-A7 core capable of running at 528 MHz. The board features two 2×20-pin headers with a 2.0mm pitch, allowing for the extension of controller signals and ports to the baseboard via headers and connectors. This exposes additional functionalities of the i.MX 6UL / 6ULL ARM Cortex-A7 processors, making the MYS-6ULX suitable as a system-on-module (SoM) for your upcoming embedded designs.
The ARM Single Board Computer MYS-6ULX is available in two versions: the MYS-6ULX-IND and the MYS-6ULX-IOT, each tailored for specific needs. The MYS-6ULX-IND is geared toward Industry 4.0 applications and uses the i.MX6UL series processors, whereas the MYS-6ULX-IOT is designed for IoT applications and is equipped with the i.MX6ULL series processors. Although they share the same hardware design and are fully software-compatible, each variant has its own set of features. For example, the MYS-6ULX-IOT includes a USB-based WiFi module with an onboard antenna. Meanwhile, the MYS-6ULX-IND supports an extended operating temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius, making it ideal for industrial control and communication environments. MYIR has adapted Linux 5.10.9 for use with these boards, offering both a Debian distribution and a version ported for the Yocto Project with QT. Furthermore, MYIR provides a demo to help customers experience the Amazon Alexa Voice Service.

MYIR has also developed an expansion board, the MYB-6ULX, which connects to the MYS-6ULX via the latter’s two onboard 2.0mm pitch 2×20-pin headers. This expansion board adds an additional Ethernet port to the MYS-6ULX and integrates CAN, RS485, audio, RTC, and camera functionalities, thereby enhancing the board’s capabilities. MYIR will provide optional LCD, camera, and WiFi modules to augment the functionality of these boards, creating a comprehensive embedded system solution.

ARM Single Board Computer Hardware Features
i.MX 6UltraLite
The i.MX 6UltraLite processor family is equipped with an advanced implementation of a single ARM® Cortex®-A7 core, capable of operating at speeds up to 696 MHz. It offers a broad range of interfaces for connecting peripherals such as WLAN, Bluetooth™, GPS, displays, and camera sensors. Additionally, each processor supports various memory interfaces, including 16-bit LPDDR2, DDR3, DDR3L, raw and managed NAND flash, NOR flash, eMMC, and Quad SPI. It includes an integrated power management unit that simplifies power sequencing and reduces the complexity of the external power supply.
On the MYS-6ULX-IND board, MYIR utilizes the 14 x 14mm, 0.8mm ball pitch, 289 MAPBGA packaged i.MX6UL application processor, which provides multiple compatible options across the G0, G1, G2, and G3 subfamilies. The default part included is the MCIMX6G2CVM05A, and MYIR offers configurable options for large-scale customization.

i.MX 6UltraLite Device Options
i.MX 6ULL
The i.MX 6ULL processor is a high-performance, ultra-efficient family featuring an advanced single ARM® Cortex®-A7 core, capable of operating at speeds up to 528 MHz. The i.MX 6ULL is supported by discrete component power circuitry. It represents a cost-reduced version of the i.MX 6UltraLite with fewer security features and a lower maximum CPU frequency, but it adds ePD support.
On the ARM Single Board Computer MYS-6ULX-IOT board, MYIR employs the 14 x 14mm, 0.8mm ball pitch, 289 MAPBGA packaged i.MX6ULL application processor, which offers multiple compatible options across the Y0, Y1, and Y2 subfamilies. The default processor included is the MCIMX6Y2DVM05A, and MYIR provides optional configurations for mass customization.
